Standing (MECHANICAL) Seam 1.5 TRIMS

These are the recommended standing seam trims to use with the Standing (Mechanical) Seam 1.5 panel for your next metal roofing project.

MERC3-Ridge Cap

MERC3 - Ridge Cap

  • Allows for approximately 6″ of coverage
  • Can be bent to match roof pitch, which must be specified at time of ordering
MEPC2-Peak Cap

MEPC2 - Peak Cap

  • Allows for approximately 6″ of coverage
  • Can be bent to match roof pitch, which must be specified at time of ordering
MEGF4-Gable Flashing

MEGF4 - Gable Flashing

  • Allows for approximately 2.125″ of coverage
  • Gable flashing is used to trim the edge of the roofing panel at the gable end of the roof. It should match the eave flashing that extends along the drip edge of the roof. If the panel is allowed to hang over the gable end, eave flashing can be used instead. Butyl tape between the trim and the panel eliminates leaks.
MEEF1-Eave Flashing

MEEF1 - Eave Flashing

  • Allows for approximately 4.625″ of roof coverage and 2″ of wall coverage
  • Can be bent to match roof pitch, which must be specified at time of ordering
  • Eave flashing gives a finished look along the drip eave of the house, as well as providing protection for the materials they cover. The eave flashing should completely cover the top edge of the fascia. Inside closures, which seal off the open ribs of the panels, are optional.
MEEW1-Endwall Flashing

MEEW1 - Endwall Flashing

  • Recommended to use outside closures
  • Can be bent to match roof pitch, which must be specified at time of ordering
  • Endwall flashing is applied where the upward slope of a roof meets the wall. The wall side of the flashing can be covered with siding or counter-flashing, and outside closures are necessary to seal between the flashing and the panel.
MESW3-Sidewall Flashing

MESW3 - Sidewall Flashing

  • Allows for approximately 4″ of coverage
MEVF2-Valley Flashing

MEVF2 - Valley Flashing 'W'

  • Allows for approximately 17″ of coverage
